Moorside CC Twenty20 v Stayley Twenty20

Moorside batted first opening with Ronnie Venger and Pip (soon to become "Lip") Taylor. Ronnie cut loose from the off and when Lip recovering from a blow to the mouth from a short one, was out on 15, the score was 64. Harry next and 126 for 2 with Harry taking 20 balls to knock a quick 33. Quiet evening for Swampy with the bat but Ron was still clogging it around the place. He finished on 95 from 54 balls just after taking one in the aforementioned (see main image). A brisk 13 from Danny and the 20 overs were up. 194 for 6 was a challenge for Stayley which they were always behind with. They finished on 123/9 with wickets shared out in one's and two's. Swampy's 2/16 from 4 was the pick of the attack. On to Norden a week on Friday and a win there puts us top of the group.
