The season started proper with Moorside hosting Uppermill CC. Having won the toss, Moorside batted first and lost three wickets for 61 runs. But a partnership of 127 between Professional Gerrie Snyman and Immy Khan took the score to 189. Gerrie out first for 66 from 90 and Immy next for 58 from 90. Final score 211-6.
Uppermill all out for 110 (10 men only) with wickets shared across the 6 bowlers, the most economical - Jamie Taylor with 8 overs, 6 maidens, 1 for 13. Drew Fullalove's 10 wides was 4th top scorer. Run-up marking required!
