Moorside's Crown Green Bowls average age profile is over 63 years. It would be even higher was it not for Sean Edwards who at 16 is one of a only three bowlers under the age of 30 at the Club. Sean plays for the Greater Manchester Junior County U-18 team. He is also part of the Middleton Federation U-21 set-up who play at Leeds Garforth next on July 5th.
We are trying hard to encourage more young people to Bowls at the Club and have a number of qualified coaches who will be happy to show them the game.
