JW Lees Pennine League T-20 Champions 2017
Just in case you missed it, little old Moorside Mavericks T20 were up against three Premier League sides yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday) on T-20 finals day. Having despatched Rochdale CC T20 in the semi-finals, Moorside faced Littleborough CC T20 in the final.
Restricting Littleborough to 158 for 6 in the 20 overs, the Mavericks went on to 161 for 2 with 2.1 overs left.
The T-20 season has produced some great wins (and the odd bowl out!).
A certain Gerrie Snyman’s statistics for the T-20 season were impressive.
8 innings, 3 not out, 452 runs, average 90.4, Strike Rate 167.4
This year’s T-20 campaign was a great team effort all round with some other notable batting performances:
